W.Gleamz will be opening for a West Coast College Tour with Bay Area rapper Chil Will beginning in January 2007. The tour will be 25 dates at major colleges along the west coast. Snoop Dogg became the embodiment of '90s gangsta rap, blurring the lines between reality and fiction. Introduced to the world through Dr. Dre's The Chronice, Snoop quickly became the most famous star in rap, partially because of his drawled, laconic rhyming and partially because the violence that his lyrics implied seemed real, especially after he was arrested on charges of being a murder accomplice. Since that time Snoop Dogg has gone on to become one of the biggest stars in all of entertainment. Throughout the '90s and into the next decade, E-40 led a generation of Cali Bay Area rappers and attracted a large cult following of listeners that spread from the West Coast to the South. His uncanny rhyme delivery set him apart from the mainstream, as he coined his own lexicon of street-speak and experimented with overdubbed vocals. The veteran shows no signs of retiring and has already released over 11 studio albums.
